IN THE STUDIO

So here’s a thing about me: I actually love voiceovers. I know some people find them annoying and the screenwriting powers that be will often advise against using them but voiceovers can add so much, when used correctly. Cher’s commentary on 90s teenage culture in Clueless, Carrie Bradshaw lamenting about dating in New York City in Sex and the City are among my favorite uses.

Well, today, I’m embarking on a new creative project that involves me doing something I’ve always wanted to do: record voiceover narration! The story of MENAFTER10 is meant to be read, heard and maybe even one day, seen! In any case, I want to meet readers where they’re at and provide an audiobook format of the novel.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look of me in my first recording session in the creatively-inspiring city of Asheville, North Carolina! Stay tuned for more details on the audiobook edition of MENAFTER10 at recreationaldrama.com
